 Joomla Security Change the default database prefix (jos_)
Most SQL injections that are written to hack a Joomla! website, try to retrieve data from the jos_users
table. This way, they can retrieve the username and password from the
super administrator of the website. Changing the default prefix into
something random, will prevent (most / all) SQL injections.
You can set the database prefix when installing your Joomla!
website. If you've already installed Joomla! and want to change your
prefix, do the following:
- Log on to your Joomla! back-end.
- Go to your global configuration and search for the database
- Change your database prefix (Example: fdasqw_) and press Save.
- Go to phpMyAdmin to access your database.
- Go to export, leave all default values and press Start. Exporting the database can take a while.
- When done, select all code and copy it to notepad (or any other text editor)
- In phpMyAdmin, select all tables and delete them
- In notepad, do a Search & replace (Ctrl + H). Set the searchterm to jos_ and change it into your new prefix (Example: fdasqw_). Press "Replace all".
- Select everything in your notepad file and copy it. In phpMyAdmin, go to SQL, paste the queries and press Start.

 twitter 4 joomla I've integrate twitter with joomla. Twiter is a social networking and microblogging platform that provides a way to build a network of public around you. The amazing thing is that you are provided with only 140 characters to buzz your network
or followers at a time. Using Twitter, could send a 140 character
message to your followers and public. But is it possible to convey
something with this limit ?
Yes, Twitter is short and sweet. It gives the flexibility to have
conversation with any one including your customers or public instantly,
that adds real value to your online business. I would say, Twitter is a perfect business tool.

 OSCONF Open Source Conference telah melabuhkan tirainya.
Ada banyak lagi yang perlu di improve oleh penganjur mengenai program OSCONF ini. Secara teknikalnya, ini adalah conference yang pertama seumpamanya diadakan di Malaysia. Ada beberapa perkara yang perlu ditambah baik untuk memastikan kualiti yang lebih baik samada dari booth dan juga speaker. (Maaf sebab aku mungkin tidak dapat hadir semua seminar yang diadakan)
Aku masih berpendapat bahawa masa selama 45 minit sebenarnya tidak cukup untuk menerangkan dengan lebih detail tentang apa yang sedang cuba diutarakan oleh speaker. Bayangkan kalau 45 minit bahagi 3 / 4 orang speaker, lebih kurang 10 - 15 minit untuk mereka menghuraikan topik-topik yang berkenaan.

OSCONF Hari ini selesai sudah hari ke3 OSCONF. Agak ramai juga dan ada kelibat student-student UITM datang melawat OSCONF. Hari agak ramai sedikit, dan badan badan kerajaan juga kelihatan berlegar legar disekeliling.
Masih ada juga yang keliru mengenai JomSocial dan Joomla. Mereka ingat Jomsocial adalah sebuah lagi software yang seperti Joomla. Jomsocial adalah sebuah komponen untuk Joomla. Jika tiada Joomla, mana mungkin ada jomsocial.
Jomsocial adalah satu komponen yang menarik. Saya menggunakan Community Builder untuk laman web DreamsChaser dan juga Twendeline. Community Builder adalah percuma manakala Jomsocial adalah komponen berbayar. Sempena OSCONF ini, Jomsocial memberi diskaun sebanyak 50%. WOW! Dapatkan segera!

OSCONF
Satu hari Open Sorce Conference sudah berlalu. Penat juga rasanya tetapi dirasai apabila telah selesai.
Hari kedua OSCONF boleh dikatakan ok jugalah. Walaupun tidak seramai conference yang lain lain. Mungkin disebabkan perkataan open source.
Cuba kalau diintegratekan nama open source menjadi open money source! Sure ramai yang berduyun duyun datang untuk mengetahui apa bendanya maksud open money source.
Still, masih ada pasaran yang besar untuk sistem open source untuk diperkenalkan kepada masyarakat Malaysia amnya.
